I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the Bourbon selection and prices to the food and the staff this is one of my all time favorite places. The bartender and chef were amazing last Friday night. The kitchen had just closed but the chef came out to our table and told us he wanted us to have a good time and enjoy ourselves while there so he went back in and made us a plate that was just amazing. Later on I ordered a bourbon not sold in the states and because I finished the bottle the bartender let me keep it as a souvenir. We were so impressed that we came back on Monday night. Mindy was our server and we couldn’t have been more pleased. I ordered some pretty hard to find bourbons and she took the time to make sure we had a great experience. she even brought the bottles over and showed us a few tricks to get the lighting right for a picture. So impressed that I will continue going every time I’m in the city, keep up the good work, great selection, and the amazing staff.

This place is solid. The menu items have changed and I'm not sold on it so I probably won't come here again. But it's a great place with awesome food. The staff is real nice. Go to this place at least once. You won't regret it.

I highly recommend this place to everyone I meet. The food is outstanding and their whiskey is top notch. If I had to gripe, it would be that it can get crowded. Obviously, space is limited in Chicago and their reputation for outstanding food exceeds their seat capacity. Their food is absolutely worth it. The constantly changing menu makes this a new experience each time. I have never had a bad experience.

What a great restaurant. Fine dining with a cozy, exciting atmosphere. A huge thank you to Samantha for helping me set up an amazing dinner for 12 VIP world travelers. Everyone raved about the food of executive chef Max, and the service was impeccable. 5 stars is not enough!

"This place used to have a Michelin Star, ya know?" Yes, yes, we know, Grandpa. And where is it now? Removed for "inconsistency" apparently. Well in my experience it deserves it back. This is one of THE best dinner dates in the city, especially when it gets warmer and you can eat outside. The dinner menu has a wide variety of nuanced dishes that cost about $15 each, give or take. If you're looking to get stuffed then go to this ain't the place; the proportions are small and thoughtful, yet still fun to share and remark about the "flavor profiles" or other foodie terms. Definitely worth a visit and a revisit.
